Cave Relics distributed by LP Soonthorn (Ubonratchathani)

Cave Relics distributed by LP Soonthorn (Ubonratchathani)

To let go for: S$30 a small bottle

My blog follower price: S$25 a small bottle

Source and brief information:
This type of relic is called "Prathat Pra Oraharn). These are relics left behind when arahants or other Enlightened Beings pass away. These relics were kept by LP Soonthorn (Wat Pa Ban Deang, of Ubonratchathani province) for some time before he distributed them to people upon request. They were kept at an altar in his temple, and it was noticed that these relics kept multiplying and multiplying and multiplying. So LP Soonthorn decided to distribute them to others. LP Soonthorn was the one who found these relics in a cave.

Relics are, in brief, "by-products" of Enlightenment or spiritual attainment of gurus who have left us, and are priceless. The price I charge is for my service in getting these relics and to keep me in business to continue providing my service in future.

Function:
Relics are a sign of attainment of spiritually accomplished beings (or Enlightened Beings) who have left us, and are meant to:
- inspire us to attain Enlightenment ourselves
- remind us that Enlightenment is not just a myth but it is true and possible
- give those who have not had the chance to meet Enlightened Beings to pay respect to the relics as a way of showing respect to these Enlightened Beings
- Can be used by a master or ajaan or guru monk to remove or fight black magic or possessions
- To gain merits (for present and future lives) when housed in one's altar and venerated

Method of use:
- These relics can be placed on one's altar and one can make offerings (like a cup or glass of water, or/and with some flowers, for example) to them on a daily basis. One can also carry these relics around, as some believe they can protect you in the same way amulets can. In fact, many amulets contain relics.

About LP Soonthorn: He is the only disciple of LP Phromma (a highly-respected old-time guru monk who has left us) to be universally recognized as LP Phromma's disciple in Thailand.
